Yesterday I was curious about the weather Inzane attenders were experiencing, so added Morgantown to my Weather Network phone app.  I just got an alert:

At 1141 am EDT...A severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of Hundred...or 13 miles north of Mannington...moving southeast at 25 MPH.

Hazard...Quarter size hail.

Source...Radar indicated.

Impact...Damage to vehicles is expected.

The weather has been really nice.  Much better than what we expected.  4 nice riding days Sunday through Wednesday.  There were a couple smaller in size thunderstorms go through the area around noon and then cleared up for the bike show.  Thunder storms moving in around 5PM as everyone gets ready for the 6PM and awards.  Great times everyday.  Great location

Dude, we was in it.
Got the claw marks in my back from LuLu to prove it  Shocked
We were on the bridge over Cheat Lake when the black sky opened up and everything went sideways.
Still feel like I'm wet.  coolsmiley

Big storm overnight.  Power went out about 2:00 am and was not on when I pulled out at 5:30.  Glad I did not spread out too much in the room.  Had to gather everything up in the not quite pitch blackness as my flashlight was in the saddlebag.  Ended up leaving a pair of sunglasses.  Rode in the rain first two hours, not bad after crossing over into Ohio.

Hope everyone else makes it home without incident.  Some came from really far away.

Good thing they had power in the breakfast room and had coffee ready. Had a couple of cups of Joe and headed to the gas station to fill up and they had no power either. Gassed up further down on 68 and ride through on and off rain all the way to Huntington.
