Wow time goes by fast! Blake, Brian Jr and Kaelynn turn 5 years old today. What a journey it's been, and continues to be!

Just had to brag for a minute and give some updated pics of 'em since ya'll have been with us since before they were born (MANY years before for some of ya'll)

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

You guys should have done better planning and had them at Christmas.  Save you thousands in BD presents over your lifetime.   ;D

Thanks for the update.   :cooldude:

I see you are teaching them swordsmanship,  if there even is such a thing?

I can see the bigger boy on the left being the protector of the trio...

Every summer my mom has all the grandkids over to her house for a "Pirate Party", puts up an inflatable bounce house, decorates with pirate stuff and goes all out. (Some people were born to be grandparents and would have happily skipped being parents if they could have, my mom is one of those people.) And today is the annual pirate party (Not the kiddo's birthday party, just happened to b the only day all the family could line things up.)

And the ironic bit about the protector comment is Brian Jr. (The bigger boy on the left) is the softest, most non-protectorish of the three. Kaelynn (The girl) is the violent one. You do NOT want to get on her bad side! Blake, the smaller boy, is the schemer. He's always thinking and planning his next move. Scary kid, he's been reading and writing quite well for about 6 months now.

And just because why not, here's a few more pics of my mom's Pirate Party today:

All of my parent's grandkids together (I'm responsible for 4/7 of 'em)

:2funny: I have just 2 kids, girl and boy 5 years apart. It has never ceased to amaze me how different they are. Here you have 3 of nearly identical genes and yet they are so different.  :)

Heh, me and my baby sister are almost exactly 4 years apart, and couldn't have been more different if we'd planned it that way.

We couldn't stand each other for most of our lives, could barely be in the same room together until our 30's, now that we're both in our 40's with kids of our own we can finally be sociable to each other, but still very VERY different people.

All 4 of our kids are so different as well, but so far at least *Knock on wood* they overall get along and like being with each other... mostly...

They have the same birthday?  Are they identical?    :2funny:

Wow, Serk, your mom is cute!   ;)

Seriously, they're looking good as they grow.  It does go by quickly.   :cooldude:
