We really took our time getting back...  Between crazy construction delays on I465 (around Indy), a nasty accident on I39 (just south of the WI/IL border), Bumps on I39 that should have been labeled Jumps, and the heat, we just decided to get home when we could.

Loth ran ahead, to catch up with a family commitment, after Bloomington Normal, and The Don, Barbo, and I just took our time.  Rolled in about 4:00pm CST Saturday.

A big thanks to everyone involved in the planning of this great event.  Weather was great, the area was beautiful, accommodations were pretty nice (especially for a group our size), and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

As to the folks that attended the event...  It was great to renew old friendships, see familiar faces, put faces to familiar names...  All in all, you couldn't find a better group of people if you tried!

And, the most impressive statistic of the whole week (in my opinion) was the $8000 raised for our charity  cooldude  Think about that for a moment...  I'm not sure of the attendance figures, but I'm guessing there were about 400 folks there at one time or another.  The raffles, 50/50, Pie auction (over $3000 right there), winners handing back big wads of their 50/50 winnings, and a very heartfelt donation by a member seriously injured in a crash (now recovered), our little band of goofballs made one serious sized donation!  I'm proud to be affiliated with each and everyone of you, and to be able to call you friends  cooldude

Great, super, fantastic, awesome event!!!

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...

I wholeheartedly concur with everything said above.

It appears I took the same route back home, heading west on I-90 from Madison WI.  Did not care for the construction and traffic but it helped to rise early and get miles behind you before sun up...

Steve, could not have said it better. agree with everything you said.
Now that Barbo and I are home we were thinking about how bad that BUMP was. Airborn and all, it could have been much worse. The 3 to 4 cars pulled over off the road after said enough.
Glad you were with us, we really appreciate your company and friendship.
