Well, what a week it was at Inzane. Since this was my first event, I did not know what to expect.

I camped at Coopers rock State Park, about 8 or so miles from Ground Zero and ended up meeting 2 other Valk riders (and a few non Valk riders) in the process.

People came from around the globe for this event (literally... Germany, Poland...) some riders rode upwards of 3200 miles to the event.

while I am not much of an organized event type of person, I must say that they were Ok. Well worth the few dollars to attend and support the organization, and other fund raising / charity functions. I especially liked the Blueberry pie (my personal favorite) and I have to say was the best BB pie I have ever had.

Big shout out to MarkT and June for their hospitality at the camp site. It was much appreciated, and learned a new term.... Barley Pop...and for your assistance in getting my bike back up and "legal" when my tail light burned out...you reached in to your bag of tricks and produced the item needed

Some repairs will be needed as a follow up to this trip...like new fork seals. Didn't really affect me too much on the trip (ignorance is bliss sometimes).... was able to stop my Trailer when towing through the mountains, and didn't affect my riding ability in the twisties...

Came back on Friday...bugged out and had to pack wet gear...got it dried out on Sat (beautiful here in Easter PA Sat).... and had to bury my Father in law (ex... but we were very close) who was probably the nicest, kindest, gentlest man I have ever known. He will be missed.

Went back to work on Monday...was at my desk at 7:30.... catching up on all the stuff I missed (or left behind is more like it) the previous week. 8:45 meetings ran till 11:30... and then 1-3.... was a brutal re-entry. I missed the days when I could sleep in till 7:30, make breakfast (bacon egg and cheese burritos) on the grill... ride all day on some amazing roads (like the freshly laid tarmac a few miles west of Auora on Rt50....holy crap!!!!)...play Frisbee golf (had to be a billy goat on that course!) for a few hours and not have a care in the world...except, how far is it to the next gas station cause I'm WOT for the past 2 hours!!!!!

Good times - thank you for setting up a great event, and thanks to the Morgantown WV folks for putting together that brochure of recommended rides...WOW. Good stuff!!!

Great stories!! My first Inzane as well. Looks like we live next door-we should ride sometime. Or at least kick tires.
