Lost my best friend yesterday about noon. She will be missed by all who knew her. Yesterday was also my birthday.  Only fitting that she left this world on the day she brought  me into it. I had 63yrs. Of her time. I held her hand as her spirit left for the Lords House.

I'm 63 too and still have mama, trying to spend more time with her as my dad has been gone for 6 years now. Currently spend alternating weekends at her house and we talk on the phone at least 3 times a week. She is 88 but quite savvy so I got her a Iphone  so she texts and I can send her pictures of her new twin greatgrandsons most every day. Thankful for my current situation that allows me to do this. I am sure your sadness is softened with the knowledge you were there when she left this world for a much greater home. My mother is always saying there are more of her friends and family on the other side now than she has here.

It is tough....Lost mine 19 years ago. But I had the privilege to have her in my home for her last couple of weeks. We hadn't spoken for the best part of 20 years, but I was very happy to re-unite in her last few months.....

My best thoughts are with you. I still think of Mom quite often, as I'm sure you will too.

My condolences.

I've still got mine but, her aging has accelerated the last decade, time is taking it's toll.

May you find comfort in your memories and cherish them always.

Sorry to hear one's loss of their Momma. You never quite get over it, but it does get better with time and memories you never forget. God bless you, she had to be a great Momma for a son to love her so much.

You can be glad that you were there with her when she left for a new life... We were there also when our mom took her last journey. Family all around her to see her off.  Celebrate her life.  Moms will always be missed.   angel  Prayers and thoughts from Massachusetts.
