Would love to be there.  Headed for San Antonio on Friday for the River City Bike Fest.  Then, 14 hours of riding Sunday through the hill country (Willow City loop, and, oh yes, a stop at Coopers for BBQ).  I'll think about you guys but I won't say what I'll be thinkin!!!

Dave - Good question. I have to confess that I don't know about a ride to Dublin and don't see one on the calendar.  I picked this date and put it on the calendar after the last meeting and there wasn't a conflict with a ride, but it could be that one has been scheduled since by someone. Hopefully, someone will fill in the details on that today.

Sidecar, from you handle I assume you ride a chair.  If that assumption is wrong then ignore the question I'm going to ask.

They make an electric motor adapter to let the bike lean in corners and curves, also to set the bike upright on crowned roads.

Have you seen one or heard of one......

Would appreciate any information if ya have it.

Best upgrade for Tourers and Standards - if you have not already done it is the relay for your headlight circuit. It will save you the cost and hassles of replacing your starter switch. I learned this one the hard way.

Thanks, I just read and printed the link you provided.  Is there a recommended relay?  Sorry, I'm mechanical, but not very electrical.

Buy em rated for 30 amps that look like the ones on Chet's site. No extra plastic cowling around the male connections. ~Jeff

I'm all stocked up on service manual, print-out instruction, parts, supplies, 10s, 12s. & 14s.  The only thing I don't have yet is a dab of dielectric grease for the starter switch, and I'll pick that up on the way.  1300 hours, right?

I remembered there is an experienced rider's course in Bedford Saturday morning from 0700-1300 and signed up.  I've heard they can end early, but in case I'm not there on time, I'm on my way.
