This would be a pricey toy, but I'll bet IF it could keep up, it would produce some AWESOME videos of Valk riding---whether from behind or leading the Valk.

Check it out.

What a cool toy.  Wish that was in our arsenal when we crossed the Mackinac Bridge on our way home from Inzane

Very cool, cooldude but what keeps it from hitting a tree or worse, taking someone's eye out. Undecided

Not sure, Hook...but I'll bet the designers, who are way smarter than me have that stuff figured out. Just one drawback is that "Lily" can only fly up to 25mph...not practical for filming our beasts of speed. But maybe someday, technology will surpass the minimum requirements.

My son just bought one of those things to record himself while wake boarding behind his boat.   I assume it can keep up with him but honestly don't know.   Way too much money for me to use when there's perfectly good Valkyrie stuff still out there needing to be bought.  Wink

My understanding is that the quad will follow a homing beacon as long as it receives the signal, it won't avoid obstacles such as trees, power lines or bridges.   It's just trying to maintain a certain distance and position from the homing beacon.    Would be fun if it could keep up with a Valkyrie but, that may be asking a bit much.
