No, not to my wife (that milestone passed nearly a quarter century ago).

I picked up my 2001 Standard from the original owner on June 29, 2006. Had 4,307 miles on the odometer.

As best I can tell, it was completely stock except for the chrome plate behind the backrest.



EDIT: P.S., I joined the VRCC the next day (June 30, 2006).
