These two had a tete a tete on the Phoenix tarmac in private.  Clamed it wasn't planned and only discussed grandchildren.   It smells like sameo sameo.   How could she do this when she is heading up the so called investigation on Hillery??   If things were on the up and up, it would be grounds for firing her stinking ass.  Guess the pay off is in.

There's nothing going on here.   Relax.   It's common practice for the lead prosecutor to meet privately with the spouse of someone they are investigating to talk about family and travel plans.  Cheesy

I don't know what frightens me more...

...that they felt confident enough that they'd be able to get away with it...

...or that they're gonna get away with it.

But seriously, we know what it was all about.  We'll never know why or what was said.

And even if they did only talk about grandkids and travel plans, shouldn't the lead prosecutor who is that close to the defendant and her family be recused from the case so that truth and justice prevail?

They're gonna get away with it alright.  There's nobody with the guts to do anything about.  And even if they do, the new right wing conspiracy will just drag on and mean nothing to her supporters anyway.  They'll all lie, then lie about the lies, then laugh about the time Barack and Hillary lied to the parents of dead soldiers, then lie some more.

I wonder when the flight plans were filed and how far apart in time?

Bill got there first and waited for her arrival, then he boarded her plane.  Convenient, outside of Washington, no public access.  Think the Clinton charity may have taken a big hit, and maybe even a seat on the Supreme Court was promised.

Thinking about this... They're not THAT stupid, I'm kinda wondering if they didn't stage this knowing it'd cause a brouhaha, and had the meeting recorded, where they really DID just talk about innocent things.

Then, when it blows up, they leak the recording, trying to discredit everyone who pointed at 'em and accused 'em of shenanigans.

I've got a spare aluminum foil hat if you need it. Shame we've come to think like that instead of I wonder who had the most pics of grand kids/vacation/dog/cat etc.

I think that Lynch is too straight forward for this type of BS. That's Clinton's game.
I think he ambushed her as she was boarding the plane, and started chit-chatting as if he was just saying hello. When he just kept walking along with her, she wasn't thinking about his little scheme.

My guess? He's not crazy enough to try and overtly effect the case, but he thought he could charm her by talking about grandkids.
Once again, his "charm" is blowing up in his face lately.

yea that's the ticket.  {NOT} Maybe he is torpedoing her campaign because he doesn't want the attention that being First Man will bring.  Maybe he just don't want to play 2nd fiddle to the Bitch.  Anyway I am so, so, so, sure that Loretta was just an innocent victim in this travesty. {NOT}

Nah, I don't think there are any Innocents at that level of government. On either side. Ever.
I just don't think this is Lynch's particular style of B.S. I think this is Bill's style. He truly believes he can spend ten minutes charming someone and they will love him forever.

If they really wanted to make some type of "backroom deal", they would have met in a backroom. This was just a big, dumb, clumsy, stupid move by a player who's past his prime.

In politics, the Clintons do nothing by accident.

What this is all likely about.

The FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton is on going. There will likely be consequences that will not be at all favorable to Mrs. Clinton. When the day of reckoning is is important. Want to kick this one way down the road. One of the ways to kick this can down the road is to somehow impact the Attorney General and throw the Justice Department into disarray.

Have Bill Clinton corner the AG on a tarmac for an extensive discussion about grandkids fits the bill nicely. She will find herself having to recuse herself from the investigation because of the appearance of impropriety. This will turn into delays and more obfuscation well into and pass the election season.

This ain't Bill being nice. This is Bill on a mission.

Good one Joe, that about wraps it up, but I do think she may be a few million richer now, and the Clinton Foundation may be a few million short.

If Bill Clinton wanted to talk to Loretta Lynch, couldn't he just call her and have a conversation without all the press coverage of it?

They both knew it was wrong and inappropriate and still did it anyway. It just shows the arrogance in government today. Nothing will happen over it because they all have something to hide if they've held office long enough.

Daddie-o, you are obviously clueless... It smacks of impropriety... The fact that she waited on the Tarmac for bill shows it was planned, not happenstance like the d.o.j. makes it sound. She obviously has no problem lying so why should she be believed? Next if it was no big deal why did they prevent journalists from taking photos? Why???

There's a lot of different takes on this.  All of them slimy.
