Brake Problems

This isn't about my Valk but a 1983 Yamaha Venture. This bike has a linked system, rear brake and front left brake. I removed the master cylinder and rear caliper, cleaned them and the reservoir and rebleed. I have the front brake line pinched off. When I take it for a short ride it takes a few presses of the brake pedal before the brake seems to work ok. Then after another 6 to 8 stops the pedal gets real hard and starts dragging. I put it on the center stand and the tire is almost locked up. When I crack the bleeder open and close it the   pressure releases and the tire turns free. That tiny hole (.010 to .015) in the master cylinder is open. I'm baffled, is it possible I'm not getting all the air out of the system and somehow creating a vacuum?

Thanks for anyone's help in advance

Sounds like air and/or water in the line. The air makes it mushy and air or water will heat and expand locking up the wheel.
I ride a motorcycle because nothing transports me as quickly from where I am to who I am.

Change out the fluid, it sounds like it is contaminated with water...............

The old Venture they had a problem with that, but don't remember what year it was.............

Thanks guys, I adjusted the brake petal to allow the piston in the master cylinder come down lower. Then I attached a one man bleeder (check valve) to the front and back caliper and blead them both at the same time. They work fine now.

Thanks again
