Many, many thanks to those who put their fortunes, families and lives on the line 240 years ago to start this glorious experiment in self-government. A government designed not to coerce citizens into conforming, but, instead, a government designed to allow every citizen the freedom to find their own drummer, to pursue happiness, to succeed or fail, to live or die as they see fit.

Because our government is designed to protect individual rights from the over reach of the petty tyrants, criminals and self-serving worm tongues who are so often drawn to positions of power, we have thrived for 240 years. All the while, in stops and starts, continuously expanding and evolving human dignity and freedom.

Today, we are beset by weak foes who attack us from outside our country and by strangely strong foes who attack the very foundations of our form of government from within. They attack our freedom of speech, our freedom to keep and bear arms, our freedom to live and worship as we choose.

The very nature of our people and our freedom virtually guarantees that we can not be enslaved or beaten by the enemies beyond our borders.

But, we can be destroyed from within.

if we allow those outside our country to cross our borders at will, without our consent. If we intentionally bring those that hate us into our country, support them, enable them, and then feign ignorance when they poison the minds of our citizens. Feign ignorance when they cause mass murders within our borders. If we then react to these crimes by blaming our 240 year-old freedoms instead of blaming the lunatics and criminals we have so ignorantly invited into our country.

If we do as outlined in the above paragraph, then our seemingly indestructible country will be destroyed by our poor decisions. And we, the once proud, once free citizens of this great country may well leave our children & grandchildren shivering in fear and enslavement.

After what transpired today with Hillary, there's no turning back. She will be the next POTUS for 2 terms and this country will see things as never before. Those Clintons are beyond any law or ethics committee we could ever put together. As someone else wrote in another thread (to paraphrase) we have witnessed history today and there is no turning back.

Trump will not win and if the GOP decides to offer up another candidate that will certainly seal the deal for sure.

From the start of the debates, I had a belief Trump could be a plant for Hillary, big conspiracy huh?  Since the end of the primaries has anyone noticed he's toned down some, there isn't much of him in the news as before while HC is all over the place.

Things are about to change in a way many never thought possible, if you think Obama over used his executive order ability just wait until HC gets that power.

While I may be wrong, I sincerely believe that our only hope at salvation is to vote a Conservative Senate and House into office.   Just my opinion but, I'm sticking to it.  Wink
