I enjoy divergent views no matter how much I think differently. But I will have to admit lately it seems to be more vitriolic and hate filled. While I doubt you and I will ever agree on a lot of political items, I believe you have been courteous and civil.   It's not really you that is pissing off the center mass and right wing.   What I believe you are seeing is the reaction to the thought of Clinton being President and how unacceptable that is to most of us.   

I fully expect Hilary to be the next President of the US.   That doesn't mean she'll get as much respect as her husband did from me (which wasn't a lot) or the same lack of respect Obama earned.    I do have less expectations of glory, integrity and honesty for her to reach and somehow, I doubt she'll even get that done.     The truth is, I can't fathom how anyone could vote for her.   

My prediction is that in the next four years with Hilary as president, you will see a significant decrease and the ultimate demise of what's left of the middle class.   Only time will tell.

Progressive as a good term depends upon whether the progress is downhill or uphill.

We do agree on one point.  I too am tired of the hatred and vitriol.  It doesn't serve gain any support (from either side).  It only drives people of opposing views away.  Those people will never again hear what the vitriolic has to say.  One might say that the hatred communicated and vitriol only tends to solidify the supporters of the opposing view.
