Here is the link to the sign up page for round-up again this will not get you a room at the motel it is for a head count for the Restaurant that is going to be doing the buffet. http://www.vrccdev.com/rally/indiana/Will it is that time of year again. Time for the DRAGON ROUND-UP. Sept. 16-18. This year we will be in Corydon ind. The route this year is only 111 miles it is 90% in the woods very little HWY but some great county riding . One of the stops will be a place called the shoe tree. so if you have the room and a pair of old shoes bring them with you and you can toss them up in the tree it is harder than you think. Lunch will be in Brandenburg Ky. real good food they will be sitting up a buffet for us or order from the memu.one more thing if you have the room you might want to bring some type of small folding chair. we have large grassy area but no chairs. I have sent Scott the information for the sigh up sheet. I will post it as soon as i get it They will be T-Shirts at the ride T-Shirts prices are $15.00 from S to XXX if you pick them up at the ride. if you want you can send Jimmy G a PM message to order that way you won't have to order at the ride and pay shipping. Orders at the ride will be $20.00 ATTENTION DRAGON ROUND UP T-SHIRT COLLECTORS  Hey all, Stephanie told me that the cut off date for the T shirt order will be September 5th. If you want to be sure to get one in your size, on Friday evening, at the hotel, be sure to order one by messaging me. I don't know if she will be bringing any extras, since this has worked so well. Of course, you can still ask her to make you one and get it mailed to you after the ride, if that is what you prefer.

You may be able to park it in the motel parking lot. I think there is plenty of parking. |

Using MapQuest, it's doesn't recognize the hotel's address. So, I called the hotel and asked the front desk which side of I 64 the hotel was on, North or South. She stuttered for a minute then said she wasn't sure. So I asked her if she was coming from Louisville, which way would I be heading when I got off the interstate highway. She wasn't sure of that either. But, that's alright, we both learned something from that exercise. We were both laughing before the conversation was over. The only reason I asked is because there are two RV parks close to GZ, one North of I 64, one South of I 64. I wanted to make reservations at which ever one was closest. I'll figure it out but, thought this encounter was funny. Bump. |
