You may recall me saying in another post that down the line the findings of the FBI could be used against Hillary
I believe that After the Democratic Convention, a lawsuit should be filed by Attorney Generals of various states seeking to bar Hillary from running for President in this or any other election
Following said election the statute of limitations allows her to be formally charged in another administration and she can preside over the women's section in Levenworth
Jess correct me if I am wrong but a President can not pardon what has not been formally charged or indicted

If you don't know where your going any road will take you there George Harrison
When you come to the fork in the road, take it Yogi Berra (Don't send it to me C.O.D.)

Just curious, if she were banned from holding office at this point, how would the election be handled? Would Sanders become the default nomination or would they ask for a miss - trial, redo the caucus, or somthing?
Actually, I think it would be fair to open the stage to the third party candidates and allow them some genuine "ice time" in the game. Not like the circus could get any worse for it.

I don't think she can be banned. The constitution only has 3 requirements. A citizen,35 years old, lived in the U.S. 14 years.

...or most importantly, convicted. No president would pardon someone indicted facing trial (and I don't think he can anyway, absent a conviction). Acquittal (however remote the possibility) is so much better than conviction followed by pardon. A pardon does not void the conviction, it just lets you out of jail.
The chances of her being pushed out of the running seem thin indeed. But if it happened, you can bet Joe Biden would be pushed onto the convention floor right quick (as I have predicted before). Sanders and his groupies could suck eggs.
What a happy thought.... Trump wins, and hillary runs to a non-extradition country (while Bill starts up a new intern training and cigar rolling school)

..sobering stuff..... the US government is more and more corrupt with each passing day.
I have no answers.
I try to keep my own side of the street clean by controlling my personal behavior.
God help our children and grandchildren.
