Need yous to do some riding for me. Went for about a 120m run yesterday an when I got home my knee was in a hell of a knot so maybe we're down to 30m runs. Shattered acl 18-20 yrs ago is playing hell with me an I'm going to have to hang in there till August then Medicare will kick in. Hope the doc. Don't leave me in as much pain as the last time he rooted around in my leg. 1st part of August were going to do a little road trip in the car to Colorado an think if I ride with my leg tucked back I can handle it.

You know people always point at the knees as the issues, but the one thing they don't take in consideration are the muscles that support the knees.  The knees can't always do it by themselves, the need support from the muscles that hold them in place and absorbs some of the impact. If by chance you get knots in you muscles or charley horses, you may want to check for low levels of magnesium. Muscles spasms are an indication of those low levels. My knees from time to time don't hurt, but they do let me know that they are there, if you know what I mean, so that is why I ride my bicycle to toughen up the muscles in my legs so I don't have issue with my knees. People have to just start listening to their bodies when it tells them something. An other thing to conceder is check for proper levels of "vitamin D" Without the proper levels you body won't utilize the calcium properly to repair your body.  Bones and Cartilage is the key.

Doc needs to do an MRI an he figures I have some spurs causing the problem. He wants the remove the screw an staple they used when they had to put in a chunk of ham string. 18- 20 yes ago when I shattered the acl I thought it was funny but they sent me to a theripest office an it looked like a old fashion tire pump they strapped to my leg to find out that it was torn an after the doc fixed it up he told me he couldn't believe how shattered it was. Don't really think I have a muscle problem with my legs.

I am just say that all the body parts work together, the muscles help support the bones and the joints.  Not that the muscles are the issue in your situation.  Really good luck and good health.
