A Lufkin man featured recently for his love of driving his motorcycle at 101 years old has died.

Ben Mock Jr. died Tuesday in Lufkin.

Mock was featured in an April KTRE report when he turned 101 and could still be seen driving his Goldwing motorcycle around town.

Father -in-law is working on it.  He's 91 and we're on our way back to my place in Missouri from the BMW rally in Hamburg, NY (just south of Buffalo).    He can only do about 450 miles a day, but I know younger riders that would have trouble with that.   It's currently raining in Springfield, Ohio, so we're only planning on going as far as Hannibal, MO today.

His motto is:  If your not livin' on the edge, you're takin' up too much room.

I can't imagine riding on two wheels 29 years from now.   Cheesy

He can only do about 450 miles a day, but I know younger riders that would have trouble with that.

More power to your father-in-law.  If I would do 450 miles, day in and day out, that would do me in.  Two weeks ago, I did 635 miles in a day and after that, I did not want to even look at the bike for three days...
