Make of it what you may.  It appears that the police there have the same PC attitude that the upper echelon (read that as appointed police) here have on don't confront but run and hide.

A post in facebook in regards to this was perplexing.
"We have a huge criminal problem with people we can't see in the dark, if you get my drift."

Are there no street lights in Melbourne?
Or are we talking ninjas?

THey keep buying baseball bats and they will be registered with serial numbers.  Maybe the phrase "He hit it out of the Ball Park" might become illegal, PC, ya know.

Aussies have came a far way from "Quigley, Down Under"

What a shame!

Unfortunately I think the person is referring to what they called "the Boongs" when I was over there. (Aboriginals) racism knows no boundaries.  Embarrassed

They seem to be paying a VERY steep price for someone else's shortsightedness.  Undecided In gun free zones people become TARGETS. RIDE SAFE.

Restricting the right to own and use firearms by lawful citizens is a sin.

Restricting the right to defend yourself and family and property with whatever the hell you can lay your hands on (short of firearms), is worse.

If you interdict the criminals..... you might get hurt.

If we inflict enough damage on enough of them.... they might stop.

It's not illegal to make your own firearm. (look up the regulations on it, there are some "rules", but it's perfectly legal to make one if you are legally allowed to own a firearm).
