Was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

She is such a terrific orator.  She was poised, confident, emotional, and spoke about the achievements, especially all of the candidate's accomplishments for children.

The only thing was,............  I couldn't figure out who she was speaking about.  Not a clue.   ???

Yeah, I never heard her say how the candidate set an example for the children and stress the importance of good character, integrity, and honesty in dealing with people.  I also heard how the candidate never quit or gave up on anything.  I guess resigning as SOS and leaving 4 people to die at the hands of our enemies that were pissed off about a video don't count.  A lot of rainbows and unicorns flying out of the candidates ass according to the first lady(?).  (I understand there is still some question about that classification as well)

What's wrong with praising a liar and hypocrite?

Don't we need role models for our children and grand children Cheesy

She made a really interesting comment, something about going high when others go low.

I thought it was a great comment. For people that didn't watch and are curious (all 2 of you). She was talking about raising her daughters and was teaching them how to handle negative comments from people. "When they go low, we go high" .  coolsmiley
I know I'm in the minority here about this. But I thought her speech was great.

As a stand alone speech, it was very good.  Fact checking will make it less so.  But it was well presented.  Sure beats the "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country" speech.

Does anyone really listen to her?
Does anyone really believe her?

I am sorry her credibility is not very high with me.
Higher than her husband and higher than Hillary, but not high enough for me to listen to her.

I try to listen to as many people as I can. And the answers are yes and yes. Isn't it hard to be critical of her if you don't listen to her ?

Those parts recalling how Hillary worked tirelessly only for the public good versus enriching herself.  How Hillary is an example of a President kids can look up to, despite her public record showing her saying what she denies she ever said, doing what she said she never did and hiring a corrupt, disgraced DMC chairman for her campaign, which is hardly the shining example for children.

Those are my thoughts.  But I admit the speech was good, effective and smart.

Although my wife and I are definitely in the Republican corner, we are watching the DNC because we want to hear both sides.  I think Elizabeth Warren was as effective as Chris Christie in whipping up the crowd.  Bernie Sanders gave a good speech and caved in to the party for the greater Democratic Party good.  Michelle Obama gave a masterful speech.  It's good to hear from more than one point of view.  Same reason I watch BSDNC (msnbc) with equal doses of FoxNews - neither are unbiased but you get a wider view by listening to both.  This country will never come together if we don't try to understand each others views and opinions.

I've been watching the conventions on C-Span.  It's the only one that is showing everything, without commentary.  I can decide for myself what I think, I don't need them to tell me.

Actually not hard, I have heard and seen to much from her in the last 7 years, it was enough.
Listening to the same folks say the same thing is not a learning experience.
NO, NO.

What he said, as well as she never quit, I see resigning as SOS as quitting.  We all know she did it to avoid questions about Benghazi, and give them time to spin a web of lies before appearing before committees.  Most everything she said about Hilary was false.  Yes, I dispise her as much as her husband, mostly because of her (and his) disdain for our country and it's good people.

WAIT!  She was referring to Hillary Clinton when she was talking about devotion and kids and examples??

You're pulling my chain right?   Cheesy

It was a terrific speech, but, now that I know who it was about ( Wink ), I give it an A for everything except honesty and an F for that honesty.
