I've considered it once or twice during my lifetime but I don't think I have it in me.

He certainly is tougher than I.  What did he do to show how smart he is?   Wink

For some reason, this reminded me of an old joke I heard about a guy that came home from work only to find his wife in bed with another man.   He quietly went to his dresser, pulled out a pistol and put it to his head.

His wife started laughing.

He looked her in the eye and said, Don't laugh, you're next.    uglystupid2

Many years ago I had a co-worker that would repeatedly shoot staples into his arm with a staple gun and then pull them out with pliers to show off how tough he was.

I didn't consider him tough, just really stupid...

He is like the guy that showed up with a bullet hole in his hand. What happened asked the doctor. I tried to commit suicide. By shooting yourself in the hand. No he said , I stuck the pistol in my ear and put my hand over the other ear. I don't like loud noises.

Funny you ask, no... He said he was doing it to try to impress the girls...

Evidently it worked, he knocked up our hottest (But dumbest) blond co-worker...

Brian, I thought that you were pulling my leg. Now, I found that it was true!  He was from NH but did it in Indy.  The TV station said Xray showed that he did swallow the bullet.   Maybe it was a CB cap.

Still an idiot. we have a few here.
