Worse than that he made me into a liar, I had said I was done (guess it truly never ends) My wifes son saw the new chrome on the radiator (Cobra side covers and 9 bar grill) He said the fateful words....."now you need to cover that ugly hose". I would have never thought about it, but after he said that I had to agree. That was an ugly hose. So I found these parts on Amazon. SS hose sleeve and chrome clamp/cover. That's a Purdy radiator (if there is such a thing)

Looks great. I have the interstate slinkies on mine (better than bare hose, not as nice as braided stainless). I bought the Show Chrome cover years ago, but after reading so many write-ups on it leaking at the clamps, I sold it new in package. That one does not look like the Show Chrome model. Looks very nice I was going to say something about your hose a while back. But I figured discretion was the better part of valor.

So where is the Amazon link to such items? I might just be able to find an extra $35

Will you need two clamp covers or is the top one hidden under side cover? Also go ahead and message me your install tips please. Oh and thanks for your help with my rear end and tire change. All done. and wheel polished too.

Being honest, I'm not into loud pipes. Having said that, that's one bad ass'd look'n bike you've got there.

Thank you ChrisJ and Rams. Actually I think my cobras with out baffles are louder. With this set up. I'm still running to rich so I opened up the mixture screws from 2 1/4 to 2 3/4. But still popping on decal and when I start it up I get a lot of fuel smoke out of tailpipe. But then goes away at idle. Any thoughts on how to fix other then change exhaust. HaHA

HaHA Did you use new header gaskets when you put that monster exhaust on? I've been told that's the best way to ensure you don't get that popping sound.
