Is Reds on rt 200 a good place for breakfast?  Reviews look good.

Bronxboy

Rode with Billy & Gil today, and Billy said he ate there and it was good. But then again, what the hell does Billy know ;D

Tropic traveler

Yes it is. We've been there years ago on Valkyrie club rides. Good choice. :cooldude:
'13 F6B black-the real new Valkyrie Tourer
'13 F6B red for Kim
'97 Valkyrie Tourer r&w, OLDFRT's ride now!
'98 Valkyrie Tourer burgundy & cream traded for Kim's F6B
'05 SS 750 traded for Kim's F6B
'99 Valkyrie black & silver Tourer, traded in on my F6B
'05 Triumph R3 gone but not forgotten!

Breakfast is there specialty and it's very good. They also do lunch. We eat there twice a month on our way to Ocala. It is busy, usually wait time.
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

Looks like weather is a large factor Saturday for us. I received two new Avon tires yesterday for the 1800 and I decided to take the 1800 offline because I think the front OEM Dunflop has some issues. I noticed the last three rides a shimmy in the front and the last few miles back to the cottage was real interesting on that last ride. Glad I was one up!  The tires have 6500 miles and the front is now down the wear bars. Funny the front went before the back. Anyway I am not so egger to see what the Avon's do mileage wise (I just except the low tire miles with this bike) but handling as the 1800 board says anything over OEM is a huge improvement.  What does all that have to do with a Saturday ride?  Call me names whatever, If I can avoid rain with the 1500 I am going to. The 1800 is hermetically entombed in plastic and loves rain!
So If it turns out to be a great ride day I am willing to meet up at the walking/bicycle trail head on Croom Rital, just North of Cortez/RT 50 at 8am leaving the park at 8:15 and get to Reds around 9:30

Steel cowboy

I guess if I'm going with Patti we will just stay up all night so we can leave the house at 6:15 am. If it don't look like rain any time before 1:00 pm.
If anybody want to join up with us we can meet up at the speedway on northcliff and mariner. We can discuss the time.

I am out for this one, leaving home at 5:15 is too early, specially with the back roads and the critters at dark.

I think I was at Reds once before with this group, food was good.

You guys have fun and catch you all on the next one  :cooldude:

Jerry

Don't change time on my account, most of the riders are closer than I am and might not have an issue with the start time.

I understand that we need to get back home before it gets too hot so not a big deal on my part if I miss this ride, I'll just do a local early ride.

Last Saturday's bkfst place was great for me cuase it would have been an easy ride back home but plans changed as I was on my way to meet you guys  :tickedoff: ;D

Ok 8 at park 9:30 at Reds. Now for the weather to hold up.

OLDFRT

I can be at the park in under an hour from Homosassa if I take 98 and 50, and just about an hour if I ride all the way through on Croom Rd. Jerry, please text me if ride is cancelled. If I don't hear anything by 7:00, I'll be rolling.

Well the Tampa Bay Gun Show is this weekend, that's good for a rainy day.

OLDFRT

It is not raining here right now, but the roads are wet, and Radar shows another shower moving in. See you guys next week.

Hopefully the rain lets up tomorrow for the morning hours. I'm going to try to make the Webster bike swap.

I like the "afternoon rain" better this new weather pattern does not work.  Seems like we have had afternoon rains all summer as I think we very rarely hit rain at all on the bike this summer.  I will admit it was nice to stay home in Palm-getto for a change and Sherry is still sleeping!  Poor girl has a cold.

Bronxboy

Does Juanita know that your sleeping around with Sherry  :coolsmiley:

Well today wasn't a total loss. Went to the Tampa Gun Show, which was the busiest I have seen it in a long time. I picked up 1000rds of 308 & 1000rds of 45acp, prices have come down a bit, but will be getting more expensive the closer we get to November  ;D

Killary & Obummer are the best Gun sales people ever !! U had to walk down the aisles sideways and hope not to step on anyone's feet. There were lot's of good deals on firearms as well, but I pretty much have all I need for now.

I had to park 1/4 mile from the front of the entrance, so I got my work out walking to the truck with 2000rds of ammo. I also found a neat 50rd drum mag that will fit my Glock 19 and my Kel-Tec for $65 bucks, I have seen them at other shows for $125.

I worked up an appetite so I found my way down to Brandon and went to Portillo's. I wanted to check out what everyone was raving about. Had the Italian Beef dipped with sweet peppers well I had 2 of them  and I had to try the Polish Sausage as well as some onion rings  ;D

The food was Awesome, and I am glad I live 30 miles from the closest one. All in All a very good day for a crappy rainy day. See ya on the black top Next Week  :cooldude:
