Author Topic: New word for the dictionary?  (Read 672 times)

Surely the dictionaries will soon add the word Trumpism to the American if not the worlds lexicon.
I suggest an appropriate definition  would be an outrageously incorrect statement by a person who knows nothing of the issue at hand but says it anyway claiming to be an expert. The word will echo through the generations similar to malapropism attributed to Mrs Malaprop.

Then surely to Hillary someone is to baldly lie and deny the obvious

For instance if you deny knowing anything about something you have already admitted on video because it now suits your agenda you have Hillaried

CI_borg,

Thank you for starting this thread.   I (most likely) would have never come up with this on my own.    I now have a new term to apply to situations that I find less than truthful, wholesome and lacking any moral value.

Hillaried

Or, an adaptation of that Hillarism.   OBTW, thanks to Oss also.   2funny

I suggest your definition would apply to the current admin also. In fact it would apply more than to Trump. Trump has actually run business, built buildings and dealt with government for most projects he has undertaken. Including bailing out government for their failed attempts to make projects work. The only thing O has done,

President Obama graduated from Harvard Law School in 1991 and was admitted as a lawyer by the Supreme Court of Illinois on Dec. 17, 1991. Prior to being elected to the Illinois state Senate in 1996, he worked as a civil rights lawyer at the firm formerly known as Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Four days after Obama announced that he would run for president in February 2007, he voluntarily elected to have his law license placed on “inactive” status, according to Grogan. Then, after becoming president, he elected to change his status to “retired” in February 2009.

Hillarico
Hillary's lies and corruption could be something the Rico Act should apply to since she is a continuing criminal enterprise. If you want a word for this I think Hillarico would work.

I find it really interesting that we have one of the most unqualified people in office right now for that position and yet nothing is said about this.

But I also have a new word to add Obamasoros

A new word to be added to Hilaryism. (lying to the extreme) . How about Obamamation (the act of committing acts against a solemn oath)

Pelosicrat (making irrational statements) "We have to pass this act to see what's in it) .

Any body else come up with good ones about this administration?

Trump makes statements 'off the cuff" without thinking.  The above are deliberate statements and acts to try to fool us 'peasants"

Seems to me that would be appropriate to any politician.

Hildebeast - Any traitorous, despicable, repulsive, offensive, obnoxious pathological liar that should not be permitted to inhale the same air as the average US citizen.

Obamafoon - any person that can not see through outright lies and continue to support/think a person is qualified to hold a position based solely on that person's race, despite performance that would indicate otherwise.

Oss, interesting.  Another word, defining a practice very common now in politics - "gaslighting".

From Wikipedia:
"Gaslighting or gas-lighting is a form of psychological abuse in which a victim is manipulated into doubting their own memory, perception, and sanity. Instances may range from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim."

"Sociopaths and Narcissists frequently use gaslighting tactics. Sociopaths consistently transgress social mores, break laws, and exploit others, but typically are also charming and convincing liars who consistently deny wrongdoing. Thus, some who have been victimized by sociopaths may doubt their perceptions."

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaslighting

And Bill Whittle's succinct video on it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aw3df-LpbY
