EDIT: Seller (wisely) added a reserve price.

Depending on where it goes in the next 40 minutes or so...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Valkyrie-/272323392863?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3f67bd355f:g:DPQAAOSwEOxXP3L1&item=272323392863

I have no affiliation with the seller or eBay.

Yeah I just noticed the reserve price.  Can that be added after the original listing?

Yeah, the seller can change the listing after it's posted.  He was getting lots of interest when it was no reserve.  I was watching it for days.  Someone may have warned him he was about to do something he would regret.

This is how I bought my Interstate in 2010. Sitting at the computer in the middle of the night bidding on a 1999 green silver Interstate with 23k miles on the clock. Had seven postcard pictures to go on and I paid 10k for it. After I picked it up, I made a 3 month's trip through the USA, going from Miami to San Francisco an back again. Still have it, love that bike.
The one that's posted now looks nice, I'm sure this one will eventually go to a happy new owner.

I purchased my '98 Tourer on eBay, but it was at the local Honda dealer.  I was able to test ride the Valk before the bidding closed.  That does not happen to often.  I considered it fate that I should own it and made sure I had the top bid...

said bidding ended, so did anyone get it or did the owner state NO way only worth 3 grand vs. more like 6-7K tops.

I've seen locally an all black I/S like mine with double the mileage though at 70K about for only 4500 in price thinking that was a good deal but why have 2 Valk black I/S's?

If I could snatch up an tourer or standard for under 4K under say 50K that would be a good deal with a windshield and cobra or markt LOUDER pipes.   Cheapest I've seen so far is 3K but had a crappy aftermarket ugly paint job on it.

Not much under 7K though out there as good as our Valks although have seen the 2001-2004 Wings even with under 50K miles going for around 8K,  one even local 2001 illusion blue fully decked out for ONLY 6.8K was going to jump on that but sold ASAP.  Under 7K for a 2001-2004 Wing under say 50K miles is a good deal in my book considering I would not let my 2001 Valk I/S go for under 7K seeming about right in my eyes anyways.

7 years though have had it paying 8K with then only 18K miles on it is all now almost double the mileage, but still very low miles under 35K or so.
