I found this '01 IS over in Maryland last week. Drove out on friday to pick it up and trailer it back to Motown. Purchased it from a young guy who happens to be in the air force, he needed to sell it to raise some cash to buy his wife a car. Great to meet you Taylor and Coleen. I promise I'll take good care of her for ya. And once again, thanks for your service.

Oh, btw, a big thank you to Michael Padden aka Aquaman for the use of his most excellent trailer.

Been without for a while or is this another in the stable? Pretty bike. I'm growing more fond of how the IS looks.

Nice, great color, red is my favorite color for bikes,  I had a red VTX 1300, and a maroon-cream 1500, and now ride a candy 2014 1832, that I have added many red accents to, just made some dragon wing cut outs to put on the sides of the saddle bags, those with the flare deflectors that I put on the lower front forks should finish of the RED accents I will add,   I think I'm done for now and will enjoy the comments I get at places we stop on our weekend rides, got plenty of looks before but now my bike is really a stand out........ if any one wants to see pictures e-mail me direct

I have a Tourer with a trunk on it as well. I have been fighting a rotational grinding sound in the motoe for a year now with it. Finally got fed up and started searching for anothe bike. The plan is to open it up this winter and get to the bottom of the problem and fix it, then solo it out. I have a picture but cant seem to access photobucket. Thanks for the comments guys, I'm sure we'll enjoy this one as much as we have the other.

that mostly red with a hint of black is my favorite I/S color or for that matter all Valk colors.  Only thing I see missing is a rear chrome luggage carrier on the top trunk to complete the accessories.
