We are enjoying a short stay with our son and grandson here in the Metro-Plex. Trying to get out a little but the heat is tough, entertaining an eleven year old is not easy.

I left town due to the heat - in Colorado and had to wear a sweatshirt yesterday it was so cold.

Another good option that's got several locations is Urban Air Trampoline park (The one in Garland is brand new and awesome, we took the triplets there for their 5th birthday party and they had a blast)

And as far as the heat up here, compared to Houston, yeah it's hot... but it's a DRY heat!

Thanks for the info Serk. Woody, we are in Arlington, near Six Flags and RainMaker. Spent yesterday buying games and controllers, he's also a camera nut. Think I will cut off his gadget accumulations today, going to the Stockyards to eat some BBQ. Mark, Colorado sounds nice.
