fun with google maps..

I'm sitting here waiting for stuff to compile and playing with google maps...





I went riding yesterday with some folks, including Dennis, who has the
Confederate bike. Everyplace we stop people flock around his bike
to comment on the awesome paint job. I realized yesterday his Valkyrie
only has 13,000 miles on it. It is not on craigslist anymore (he has two bikes)
but he'd still part with it. I think it didn't sell because he had it for
$6,500... I don't think anyone Valkyrie knowledgeable would pay $6,500 for
a STD with national bags and a non-OEM windshield on it these days, no
matter how awesome the paint job is.

Most of my pictures are offline for now  , but his bike is in this one:



I don't want to see his bike go, but when we were talking about it,
he said $6,500 was negotiable...

He would have been a lot better off dropping the coins for some OEM saddlebags IMO .... I'm sure that paint job got in his pocket and those bags just look cheap .... I remember seeing the bike in person .
