I have great respect for those brave ranchers that do the dirty jobs so we can enjoy our steaks...

Steaks is one thing but it may be even tougher for those who raise finger food.

OK, for a complete thread hi-jack (not that this thread was going anywhere without a hi-jack):

. . . . I am a professional cat herder . . . Smiley

My cat herding story:

In about 1983, I was newly married and livng in a mobile home adjacent to a log cabin. We were remodeling the cabin with the intention of moving into it. I was recovering from knee surgery and on crutches. We had a chest freezer in the log cabin due to the limited space in the mobile home. We owned several cats.

One night, while on crutches, I was getting something from the freezer in the log cabin. Cats had followed me into the log cabin. As I was leaving, I tried in vein to get all the cats out of the log cabin. This was a very difficult task on crutches. I was very frustrated and cursing loudly, when my wife reminded me that the cracks between the logs in the cabin were much larger than the cats (i.e., the log cabin was not cat tight). DOH!

[I will admit it was probably funnier if you were there.]

You do realized that cats make you "think" you own them and are their masters, don't ya?

I don't hate cats, I simply prefer someone else thinks they own them.  Wink

Depending on how they are prepared.   Can't go there though.  Chicken is such a "fowl" food ya know.   Wink

Dogs have masters and cats have staff.
