Yes, thanks Misfit. We seen 2. Just S.E. of town where we stopped at a viewing place. Seen s young bull and a cow. The bull was about a 1/3 mile away an we watched each other for about 10 minutes an then he had enough of me an trotted off. Man can they really cover the ground on just a trott. The cow was a bit farther out and could care less how long I watched her.

Thanks Dave, looks like you got a couple of shoppers. Looks like moose have a good place to live in Co. . I talked to people in different parts of  Co. That have seen moose.I was happy to see the two I seen.  Had a great time in Silverton an just over the ridge I thought Telluride was the worst place on the planet I could of picked to visit. We stopped at hot springs for a sulfer bath an that really helped my bones for awhile and  did a old fogie rafting trip that was great. Wife don't care for the mtns to much. I was surprised to see Cripple Creek was nothing but gambling .

Yes, Colorado legalized gambling in only 3 towns:  Central City, Black Hawk, and Cripple Creek.  These towns were all struggling to begin with, and after some time the casinos pushed out most other business.

I see you're from Chippewa Falls.  I had a brother-in-law who lived there and worked for Leinenkugels, back when they were just an independent regional brewery.  I took some motorcycle trips there.
