I'm headed to Missouri with my boys on a bike trip the end of the month. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best places to ride?

Kinda partial to Southern Mo. as I live down here. Mo 14 from West Plains to Ava. Mo 95 from Mountain Grove to Theodosia. US 160 from Poplar Bluff to Branson. U S 63 from Jefferson City to Arkansas. The stretch of U S 63 between Rolla and West Plains is JUST a road. Mo 19 from Salem to Thayer. Mo 17 from West Plains to Arkansas. AND I'm just scratching the surface. Mo 181 from Cabool to Gainesville. Continue on U S 63 to Hardy Arkansas-auto museum in Hardy and antique tourist trap-sorta of!  2funny More will come to me but that's a start. RIDE SAFE.

You may have missed the best part of MO 14.  The road from Ava to Ozark is one of my favorite runs.

Good point on 5.  It's good all the way south from Sparta into Arkansas.  I like to take the ferry across the lake on 5 and then the run into Arkansas is great too.

I don't care much for 160 but I will use it.  It tends to get slick and has more traffic than I like on two laned curvy roads.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've been mapping out our trip, how about the small roads like KK and K from zanoni to W plains or 95 from Wasola to Theodosia? I'm always looking for the curvy back roads with some great views. I figure if we park the trailer in Cabool or Houston we are close to some great riding

Check out the Motorcycle Guide to Ozark Rides. Covers a lot of Missouri rides.

Just about any road in south/central Missouri will be crooked and a lot of up and down. With in a 50 mile radius of Cabool I like 137, 95, 17, 19, 160, 14, and most any oher state maintained road. 19 from Eminance to Cuba would be at the top of my list.

I have yet to find a straight road in SE Missouri, close your eyes and pick a road and go, you won't be disappointed .
