We got back from our ride to Mammoth Lakes Sunday about 6. It was a brutal last 300 miles of hot desert riding. But the Valkyrie did great ! This has been the 4th or 5th trip with the trailer. And I had it loaded the most so far. This bike cruised loaded up over mountain passes at 85-90 mph with little effort. I keep loving this bike more every trip. I only took a couple pics the entire 4 days and it appears my video cam didn't record anything. But my wife got a few and I'll try to load them later.

This I took right after I got the tent, air bed, ect. set up. I only put it up to give a perspective of our bear adventure. He was at the front of the trailer when I stepped out of the tent. After I yelled at him he casually set down the cooler and walked around the trailer on our right and came back within 18 inches of the window of the tent, with my wife standing there looking out. He came back the next night and took a dump in front of our neighbors truck. We stood there and shined the flashlight on him for a while. 30 minutes later we woke to a car alarm. He had went down the lane and found a Suburban with a window cracked open. When the people woke every door was wide open and the entire contents of the car pulled out. Talking to the girls at check in he is a 600 lb. Grizzly they have named "Einstein". But I think the whole thing is a ploy to sell more t-shirts. They had some with a bear saying "Humans in sleeping bags are like soft tacos" my wife had to have them.

Anyway it was a fun 4 days and the bike performed flawlessly.

Also I'm loving my Russell.
