I will be in Palm Beach in November for a conference and was thinking of taking 2 or 3 days extra to rent a bike and ride. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good 2 or 3 day ride from Palm Beach?

Head into the Florida board, introduce yourself, and ask in there.
A loop around Lake Okeechobee would be good. Lightsey Fish Co. down along the lake in Okeechobee is a must for lunch. Been there for decades....and they serve Cooter!

There are many places to go like out to the Everglades, down to Key West, Cape Canaveral, the West Coast just about anywhere you want. Takes about 5 hours down to Key West, 2 to the Kennedy Space Center, 2 to 3 to the west coast. This is just riding not stopping to take in the sights either. The heat wont be so bad in November you can go just about anywhere you would like. Start looking and planning and see what you want to do. Heck you can take A1A down to Miami beach its a pretty run or up to Jupiter and further north. Stop off on Ocean Drive and see what all the hoopla is about. It would be pretty easy to soak up 3 days going down and back to the Keys and touring around there and seeing some of the sights. Stay overnight in the Keys the head north then Alligator Alley to the west coast go up the coast there and then head back over on say 60. One of the runs I like is take the Veterans hwy out to Okeechobee and then down on 27 then across on 84 then back up on 95. You can spend quite a few hours on this run depending if you go all around the lake or not. The cane fields and the open roads going out to Okeechobee are what makes the ride enjoyable. Just to give you an idea of what stopping and enjoying the sights might be like I started from Palm Beach at 10 am was down in key West by 6pm and then back home by 2am. This was with stops and eating and not rushing on the way down and running on the way back. Miami has alot to offer and you can go out to dinner and see some of the night life or go to places like Joes Stone Crab and look around and see some of the mansions and the cruise ships along 195 to Miami beach. Just as general rule east will be in traffic, but west will be pretty open. So think about that also when planning, A1A is 35 mph most of the way but it has some of the most beautiful sights and you will not lack for things to look at and enjoy.
