Trying to figure something out, I see a pattern somewhat. You have a computer, and it runs good, but eventually it gets slower and slower. You try and clean it up, run your antivirus, defrag. the hard drive, and try and shut down what you can to speed it up, but you seem to gain little. Still, you get these error popup from time to time, seem like you can never win. Some people due to our minimal savvy to correct the problem, may take it to a service to do a major clean up of the system. Some cases it helps, for a short time and eventually ends up the same situation. In the back of your mind you think “Well it’s time for a new computer”. Myself for ISP I have “WOW”, I have the slow speed internet, and seemed to run fine, and now it is like, feed the hamsters to get it going fasted. Now generally when I use a program that does not require the internet, it seems to work fine, when the internet is needed, it seems to be dragging an anchor. While in my Explore , I notice I constantly get bombarded with ad’s and some are streaming ad’s, and is some cases they are one on top of another, as much as three high. I Ctrl/Alt/Del, to open up my Task Manager and clicked Performance, to see how the CPU and Memory are used. While these streaming ad’s are running it eats up as much 95% of my CPU to run them, and in some cases when I try to login to my email, there is pauses, so I have to type between the pauses to log in. I contact WOW and ask them what the deal is, they say they need the ad’s to pay the bills, I ask them then why is my internet bill so high if you need the ad’s to pay for it, I express my frustrations and anger because I am paying monthly for an anchor rather than a service. On TV and the internet ist’s like you are paying to see advertisements constantly. But their attitude is “Oh Well” Shut up and pays the bill. Now, I also have a Surface 3 which doesn’t seem to have any issues online, as crazy as it may sound, it’s almost like they tweak the older machines to encourage upgrading to bigger, newer computers. Is it me or do others notice any changes?
