We have a fair amount of Valks for sale around here, but this one caught my eye. Has a reconstructed title, but less than 6k miles. No affliation, just saw it on Craigslist.

Sure is good-looking, though.  Doesn't take much to total a bike.  Insurance companies suck.  To me, a salvage title is usually an non-issue - particularly on a machine with low miles like that and you're planning to keep and ride the wheels off of.

Sounds like reasonable offers are being considered.  If I was in the market and local, I'd be all over that one.
