Oh sorry, are motorcycle threads still allowed?

 Wink

I sure hope we are not driving folks away from the board with non motorcycle threads, posts etc but I do believe it is so

Hay fever season is starting, my eyes are saying so anyway

I rode to work today also. Actually I always ride. Even when it's 120* I'd rather ride than drive the car or truck. Had to dodge a coyote this morning. I think I'm going to try my video camera and see if it will work in the dark. Thankfully these coyotes are pretty quick.

I think it helps that armed court officers keep an eye on my bike
and I can check the helmet inside a secure location in the lobby of the courthouse and get a receipt (for free)

At 120 though I am not riding, call me crazy but I prefer air conditioning if its over 90 degrees

Well it's only 12 miles each way with virtually no traffic . If I'm unlucky I'll hit 5 or 6 lights.

Never heard of a Dodge Coyote.
Is it the replacement for the Viper?

Funny thing, on days that I ride, the trip in is only 9 moles, but the ride home can be upwards of 20. Something must be wrong with the speedo, because it's only when I take the bike.  Cheesy

Coyotes, Vipers, Roadrunners, and Moles.
Remember when most cars had animal names like Wildcat, Skylark, Mustang, Cougar...
Now we got Camry and Prius.

fiat/dodge or whatever they call themselves nowadays also has the HELLCAT.

Hint when riding to/from work:  do NOT do what I did yesterday when I made a sharp turn doing 30 mph and see a huge turkey strutting across the road right in front of me as I straightened up. I beeped the horn to get him flying or walking faster since might have clipped him otherwise and then all I see is alongside the right shoulder coming at me is 4-6 other turkeys flying up right in front of me one missing my windshield by mere feet heard his wings flapping right up front and to the right of me, very close call.

sometimes beeping the horn might not be a good thing, although this morning on the beltline heading to work svaed my life beeping the horn.  I laid it on pretty long and heavy following a trailer bumper to bumper traffic and the lady to the right of me thinks she wants in between me and the trailer.  Man, that was a close call doing 60 mph if she would not have gotten over swearving over frantically,  I might have been toast since NO where to go.

what is worse - real turkeys or turkeys who have their drivers license?

Glad you got to ride. It was a wet mess here this AM so I drove the truck for the first time since last week.

Funny, by this time of year I drive the truck so seldom parking it in the morning starts to become a challenge as it was this morning. Had to back up and try again to get straight and centered between the narrow parking lot lines with the full size truck. Had planned on making the most of it by throwing the AR in the back seat for some after work testing of a new upper I just built but as frequently happens, plans changed and I had to come straight home.

A day that starts with a ride in the cage is never as good as a day that starts with a motorcycle ride. Today was no exception, not much excitement when it was time to head home in the truck.

I rode the awesome black bike twice this week, and will be on the awesome red bike
today. It is 16 miles each way for me. If I hit even one light, I got lost somewhere along
the way  cooldude

I was searching through old pictures and found this great picture of The Log Truck
from the Hoppe days... looks good, but I prefer the way it feels without the weight...
