You must be referring to his concert honoring the great blues masters from the Greek in L.A. , Albert King, B.B King and Freddie King.  Albert has always been a favorite.

Smokin.  The man brings his A game every night.

In the top tier of this generation honoring the blues.

It was filmed at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles; you can catch it on PBS channels, 90 minutes with some interesting commentaries included during the pledge drive times in between the music.

Some folks consider PBS as another piece of counterculture thought; I consider it a gem where you get programming that no other network will dare touch for lack of cojones when it comes to music, opinion, and truths be known.

Joe is one of those gems: rock, metal, jazz, blues, alternatives, traditionals; the man can play them all.  Clapton gave him his blessing and that's plenty enough for me. Smiley
