So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

« on: September 08, 2016, 04:28:45 AM »

I've been seeing reports of people dressing up as clowns and doing some weird stuff. Latest reports are from North Carolina. What the heck drives these folks?

I can see someone playing a prank getting shot and wake up dead eventually.   coolsmiley

It's a neat trick if you can pull it off.  Wink

I'm not afraid of much, but clowns creep me out!!! If I saw one face to face in a wooded area, on a joging path, or outside my home, I'd blow his face off and I'd be in jail.

From the link provided:
Quote
Local police warned residents “although it is lawful to dress as a clown, given the heightened tensions about these entertainers, officials are discouraging ‘copycat’ behaviour by individuals who may find it humorous to mimic suspicious behaviour.”

Exactly what are they going to charge them with?   Weird behavior isn't necessarily illegal. just weird.

Well, to a point as guys, we pull pranks on each other, on a more responsible level; we use to put catsup packs under the toilet seat.  But when you go to excessive levels, it is one of the human addictions called a need for constant attention and it comes from low self esteem. Look at it for what it is.

Most communities have laws against "creating a public disturbance" that can apply to a wide list of behaviors depending upon interpretation.

I'm with czuch, kill a couple of the creeps and problem will be solved. I'll volunteer my treestand and my time to help the cause. Not even funny when you mess with kids like that.

Call me, I will bring another stand and give you a hand. There is a law that states: other than Halloween it is illegal to wear any costume in public that conceals your real  identity.

That's how it started. Some weirdo tried to lure two kids into the woods with candy. That's the report I read.

Pure brilliance!
Well said.   Or implied,  as the case may be.
