Nice, I like 2 tone.

Now the trails begin! Where is your 1st long distance ride to, and how long?

If you are taking your partner with you, get some rear arm rests. Stopped my wife from nodding forward when she falls asleep on the back of the bike, holding her more upright.

Looks great! I am sure you will love it! I found that a fork brace seemed to really stiffen up the front end and gave me a bit more confidence in the twisties. Superbrace and Kuryakyn make models around $200.

Can't say as I blame ya! (I can't afford those things either.)
If I may then, cheaper (& extremely effective) alternatives...
Used SuperBrace,
Texelent bar & handle bar risers,
Progressive springs front & rear, (with '12 or newer oem rear shock)
DarkSide & Bridgestone G851F, (you can't really scrimp on rubber).
Of all these, it needs the Progressive springs the most,
it's horribly undersprung with oem's.
It's a whole 'nother animal with jus' the springs Cool

nice, now to start accessoring it like a rear chrome luggage rack or at least a spoiler on rear top luggage compartment,  hwy pegs upfront, and of course a few cupholders or backrest and maybe a trailer to match that beefy hitch you got.

not a huge fan on those few years they made that two tone, but different strokes for different folks and is sparking clean nonetheless and like all wings, nicely equipped.

No, but I've ridden one. It is excellent, but I actually prefer my Progressives (stiffer springs). With my All Balls neck bearings & Superbrace I'm gettin' as good (or better) results for alot less $$.
I'd sure like their triple trees though, (less "flex")
and if you ever wanna get rid of those snazzy Heli Bars, jus' let me know 2funny
You're probably right about the ridin', we do kinda push the edge of the envelope with 900 lbs.coolsmiley

There is a place in sounthern Indiana that is supposed to be an authorized Traxxion dealer. I'd love to have it. The Helibars take that flex out you are feeling.

Robin, we hate hearing of the health issue. I know it will, but try not to let it worry you, they have came a long way with prostate cancer the last few years.  Jane's brother had the surgery two years ago and has been fine ever since. I also have a friend that went through it 5 or 6 years ago, again, no problems . Will miss you two at FCR, but see ya on the next ride.
