Thoughts and prayers to all who were affected, which includes ALL of us!  But, especially those with friends and relatives involved.

Never forget.  Many seem to have already.

I'll always remember that day. I was at the New Haven police headquarters, watching on TV when the second plane hit. It was hard to believe when the towers collapsed and all those lives were lost.

Did you know that the majority of terrorists were from Saudi Arabia?

Yes Wayne

And the Saudis are linked very strongly with both the Bush family and the Clinton family

A country where a woman can be raped then stoned for allowing it
A country where a woman can be stoned for any reason if a male alleges a crime or just refusing a marriage proposal
Where gays are thrown off of buildings
Where I would not be allowed as a jew who has an Israel stamp on my passport
Where you cant drink moonshine or any booze
A country which threatens us and has made trillions off of us and given us nothing, paid not one cent, gave us not one free barrel of oil for all the lives lost defending their degenerate lifestyles and "kingdom"
Yes I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself

Evan, I just watched the other day a undercover video done in Saudi Arabia.  It was on Netflix.

According to the video, the Saudi's are against Isis only because they have their own version of Sharia Law. An eye opener!

I also, have formed an opinion but won't say here on this forum.  I agree with you.

Yep, a terrible day for sure. I was caught in it, flying some passengers to Boston that beautiful clear morning and was the next to last plane to land. Then spent 3 nice days [ Boston is a great town] trying to get back out only to have to rent a car and drive back.

I could send this thread back to the previous thread about the middle east and their crude oil, but, won't.

And for me, the saddest part is that somehow we have went from shock and anger towards the "religion" who perpetrated this event to being afraid that we might hurt their feelings. And while referring to those who "perpetrated" this event, I'm not referring just to those who actually took part in the terrorist attack, but to all of those who were dancing in the streets celebrating the event as well  Angry

I distinctly remember watching Muslims dancing in the streets celebrating the event. I can't honestly say that any of those shown were here in the U.S. or not, but definitely remember watching it on television. All while thinking that if it were up to me, I'd have introduced them to a few friends of ours, Minuteman, and Trident. While they were still dancing and celebrating in the streets, the last thing they would've seen would have been a bright flash, and then nothing!

There are/were some here that denied that happening. But, I watched muslim students in Buffalo out dancing and celebrating in the streets.  I was surprised that the news agencies would televise these events. There were others doing the same but I can't say where it was. There have been links to it posted here in past years.

Dennis,

Lets call them Isis, Hezbollah, Jihadists, whatever the group they are all Islamofascists carrying different banners for the same goal

It is after all a logical next step for a theology which believes it MUST conquer the world and which believes it must stamp out freedom of religion, freedom of speech and freedom of association.

We are all evil in their eyes, yet our leaders, like Bill Clinton before them want them to like us.   Globalists remain clueless that their money comes in large part from people in countries with this real agenda

They will first try to delegitimize, segregate and demonize and take away rights of any perceived opposition just like the Bolsheviks destroyed the white russians and just like Mao, Pol Pot, Amin, Stalin and Hitler tried to eliminate all possible opposition

Evan-I GIT where yer comin from. I also understand that you as a New Yorker feel it a bit more up close and personal. What I fear is another attack with a lot more sophistication involved. And-YES-I realize other than 9/11 "they" haven't shown very much sophistication since. I shudder to think WHAT form another attack could manifest it self as. "they" have PROVED time and again that "they" are NOT happy unless "they" have a rather large body count. And as an aside Evan-by calling them "they" in my own way I try to NOT give credence to any one hateful mooslim group. When I use "they" it encompasses ALL the mooslim hate groups. Candy-my second ex wife asked me that day 15 years ago-WHY do they hate us so much? Couldn't answer her then-I can-NOW! RIDE SAFE.

I thought all the rough feelings in me were gone until I looked through the pictures in the link below.

http://thechive.com/2016/09/11/never-forgetwere-all-on-the-same-team-human-side-of-9-11-97-photos/

It didn't take long to bring back all the feelings I had that day and for a long time after. It was a typical early morning here, I was cleaning up after the kids had breakfast and I was watching the news as usual. It was a beautiful day and I was planning on taking the kids down to the playground for a little while about 10am.

I wasn't there, but I watched it all unfold live on tv, I can still remember the reports of a small aircraft being the cause of the first impact of the North Tower. I was holding my youngest in my arms when the 2nd plane hit, she was 1 1/2 at the time.

When I recall the events of September 11th, 2001 it is with a mixture of sadness and anger. Mostly anger!

We cannot be at peace until every single person that had anything to do with this or would attempt to do something like it again, is dead.

Just curious did anyone watch building 7 go down? It was not significantly damaged in 9/11. I say this to ask who is the real enemy?

Took me awhile to get thru all the pictures. Stopped MANY times to remove the tears I couldn't see thru. I believe I did NOT know one soul who passed on 9-11-01-Didn't need to know them as they were AMERICANS. I learned ALL I needed to know out islam on 11 SEPTEMBER 2001.  Evil

I said at the time, we're no more than three people away from being directly linked to someone who was there.
Kinda like the 7 degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon.
I still have a commemorative shirt my company distributed, that I can't wear.
I had labels made and put them on honey roasted peanuts.
It said, "Farmer Grant's pork based bullet dip and bomb spread".
My friend Grant was in Iraq, and these were a hit.
