Niether Republican or Democrate but a true American

I think the polorization of America has been the fault of the parties themselves. In an effort to get one up on each other they have gone to the right or left to pickup every vote they can get. Now we as Americans really are not given a true other or middle of the road choice. Many have said Trump is to out there and Hillary is just corrupt.

But I am seeing more and more that we are Americans, different in our opinions on how to reach some of the very same goals. We have a love for the country we are in and most are proud of who and what came before and what we came through. Most I talk to would not wish harm on their neighbor, we give more than any other country in the world, we have changed the tide of history in battles and we love our families. Most of our values are the same and we dont like to see others hurt or suffering. This goes beyond party lines to who we really are, we are not as O would say need to apologize for our country. We do not need to damp down on US exceptionalism unless you want us to stoop to other countries. We have paid in blood for the right to be free and help other countries.

I say we need first to get to the real culprit corruption, greed, government not doing their job, lack of exceptional people in government. Those that have lost a vision of America along with its greatness need to take a back seat to those who have a love for the people and know the greatness inside every one of us. We need to polarize not behind a candidate but a vision and goal of America that truly is the America that is. Without a goal or without a vision people perish, yet give a goal and a vision and we can accomplish it. We need liberals and conservatives, all colors, all races, we need to make people proud to be an American not just steal the vision. An idea and or a vision could make all proud to be working for a country where we can still say the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I was sitting and thinking of the Founding Fathers and each has one thing that was in their mind and in their heart that caused them to go beyond their physical comfort and ability. It was a vision of a country that men would be free and able to worship and serve not only each other but worship as they saw fit. Where these free men would no longer be enslaved to the governments that so enslaved them the kingship and rulers yet be free. Now we have the parties separating and back biting and not giving Americans what they truly want a vision and goal of a country that is truly great. Its in our hearts and we have never given up on that idea but it seems our leaders have.
