DRU
« on: September 18, 2016, 02:04:36 PM »

Mel and I are back from the DRU. Many, many thanks to Steve, Gavin and their ladies for putting on such a great event. Restaurant was great, Motel was great, ride was great (the part I was on before my ignition switch broke) and the shoe tree was cool and odd, even rated on the "things you find in backwoods Indiana scale".  Grin

Truly a great time. I would have liked to have spent more time around the fire and kicking tires but the back was giving me fits and I spent more time in the motel room than I wanted to.

Mel and I had a great (and dry) ride home although the sky looked a little sketchy from time to time.

I think Bambi was the star for many of us. Really enjoyed meeting her!

Thanks again to all the great VRCC people who found time to share the wind in Southern Indiana for a while.
