Hope not! Going in for right foot surgery tomorrow. Plantar faciatas (sp), been getting cortisone shots for 2 years hoping it would heal, but no dice. Not sure if I can ride with a boot on, but it is the right foot and I do have front brakes  lol. If it heals slow and we get an early winter, might be parked for awhile.
Took a last ride Saturday, 400 + miles, did all the cool roads I could in a day. Awesome ride, when I was in NY, I passed a house that had 3 old bikes for sale on the lawn. A seasoned gent waved as I rode by so I turned around and stopped to chat. He was selling 2 old Hondas and a Bultaco. Glad I stopped, nice guy, rode his whole life.  Got back in town around dark, filled the tank, added seafoam just in case and parked her.  Cry
You all keep writing riding stories so I won't go bonkers, Oss, hope you do your ride again next year, sorry I couldn't make it this time.

Good luck with the surgery Craig.  Let us know how it goes.  I have been facing the same thing for 3 years now and might have to do the surgery one of these days.  I hate hospitals.

Good luck, Craig. Are you going to get one of those knee scooters? Seriously, good luck and I hope the surgery takes all that pain away....

Well, I survived...Dr said it didn't go as well as he thought it would, but the job is done.
All bandaged up with a boot that I can't put any weight on for 2 weeks. And Oxy is my friend...
Now there's time to find some curved truck stacks, like Hayhauler got, and do some interweb shopping. It's time for a gun safe in the bedroom. Any recommendations? Just want to put 2 handguns & ammo in it.
Thanks for the well wishes all!
