Checking what's available in tires for the Valkyrie I understand Michelin Pilot road 4 makes a tremendous  change in how the Valkyrie handles and the ride quality improves.  Just curious if  the Pilot road 4 tire 190/ 55 zr 17 will fit besides the 180/55zr 17. It looks a little  wider on Ebay. I have 5500 miles and some time to decide. Thanks

Should fit, that's what I plan on installing next rear I need the 180/55 is a fair amount narrow compared to the stock Dunlop.

Thanks, for your reply. I have a more miles to go just staying ahead of the need. I have searched but specifically not much on the Michelin 190 regarding  the Valkyrie but more on the 180.

Was thinking about going for that too, just happy with the stock width so complacency set in and didn't do it.

Same here, even with my fairly aggressive right hand these Michelins are fairing better than the Dunlops did. I have roughly 3500 on the Michelins and they still look pretty darn good. Handling has fallen off slightly until they get warmed up, but still better than the Dunlops at this mileage and I am a Dunlop fan on sport bikes.

I've had a Michelin PR4 190, a Pirelli Angel GT and now a Avon AV80...

I've liked them all...

I've got a 200/50-17 on the shelf waiting to see if it will clear the driveshaft when I get time to put it on the rim.
I'll post results of the attempt.

Appears to be plenty of room for a 190 though.

Thanks, for your input. I currently have a little  over 5500 miles and will be wholeheartedly interested in the Michelin  Pilot Road 4 GT 190. My rear Dunlop still has plenty thread left . I get something  like a empty rumble/ roar  from my front Dunlop at around 20ish mph. Of course, its not noticeable at higher speeds. Maybe certain road surfaces  contribute to the sound. It's not too bothersome but noticeable at times. I am too busy having fun.  Like many other riders mentioned this bike should be  selling in greater numbers. Keep us posted on the 200 50/17 if you decide it will workout.  I am glad I got mine. :
