I've read a lot of posts about topics moving to page 2 or 3.  Remember the old board?  One loooooooong page, and only the ones with pics were getting viewed?

We have a lot of members, or posters, here and it only takes a handful to move posts to page 2 as page 1 really is very short, especially with all of the "Sticky" posts at the top that are supposed to tell us all how to get along.

I must apologize to those that write up long posts, I don't read them all that much.  I come to the board several times a day when I am working.  It's how I take my breaks.  I really don't have the time to read long posts and reply.  I don't have that kind of time.  I very rarely, except for right now, visit here at night or on weekends.

BTW, just an observation,........  this is def NOT a motorcycle related thread yet it's been on page one since its inception,  Ironic, hunh?

I have made a suggestion on two separate occasions about creating an additional icon that a poster whose message primarily deals in politics and/or religious viewpoints would assign when creating their message.  That icon would show up in the far left column and alert anyone who would wish to bypass that discussion completely as to the content of the message. "Hummm, no need to open it up to see what's in the box....ooooh, coyotes...I think I'll pass on that one." Sad

Anyone else out there think that this may be worth consideration?  Up or down vote is fine. Undecided

Maybe the icon could be a stick of dynamite or a grenade or a big, steaming turd.  Whatever the administrators want to come up with! Smiley  It would "build a wall" between them that does and them that doesn't. coolsmiley

Political here and there doesn't bother me but when I wake up to a whole page that's nothing but political BS that's just too much, however if you guys ignore them and not comment on them, or bump another more interesting topic up to bury them down, will see less of them

Precisely.   Want more motorcycle threads, bump one, start one but, bitching about what someone else choses as a topic is kind of silly to me.    angel

This country is politically divided, it shows everywhere we look.    Ignoring that is like playing ostrich and sticking your head in the sand.   Just my opinion (for all that it's worth).   Thought about  sticking it somewhere else but, didn't think I should go there.   Wink
