15 miles, man?!?!? I guess if you were driving that hot rod in your avatar around a lot of would make more sense. Or not.

have you been ill or layed up? 15 miles, that is all? something must have layed you up with so few miles is all, right? heck, I put that on my bicycle this season, just barely though... Put more than that on my push lawnmower for sure this season... And here I thought you were talking about from the heading some bad biker dudes in your area like I just saw in my small town a few minutes ago some 30+ bikers hanging out in downtown parking lot by our 1 of 5 bars in town, all with leather vests on saying 'outlaws' on them. I was tempted to go downtown on my black scooter and rev the single cylinder engine to see if any takers for a race .... Judging by how slow they were moving 20 minutes later on the hwy. behind my house, I could've taken a few maybe??

No, I got out of retirement and work part time, at a fabrication shop of a friend. So lifting steel and bending, cutting, welding, and all that good stuff catches up and generally, I am dragging ass at the end of the day. On my bicycle I only put 600 miles this year on it.

I do believe it is not entirely unusual for folks to spend more time on the motorcycle forums than actually in the saddle on the road. (Not directing this comment at the OP, but the discussion has me sort of thinking out loud...)

15 miles on your bike is kind of sad. (to each their own) (how's them carbs???) However, the 600 on a bicycle is pretty impressive. I can only wonder how much better shape I'd be in if I put regular miles on a bicycle. I doubt many on here could match it. Most would match me.... 0 bicycle miles. (I gave mine away about 10 years ago) ( take my bike, please take my bike) One year in USAF, I ran 700 miles in one year. (most of it, 8 min miles) (I'm not doing that anymore either)

Ahhh yeah, you're not a "biker" heck, you're barely a "motorcycle enthusiast" Ya I guess I am not much of an enthusiast, here are a couple of pics of a Honda I did for giggles! I hand built the soft tail frame, I did everything on it paint, welding, machining and so on, except the chrome plating. All my design, it was a low rider, handled perfect, I could take my hands off the handle bars at any speed and steer it by shifting my weight. By the way, you want to hear something real strange, that paint design came to me in a dream I had, no joke! Candy gold, candy red, white and black with red pearl pigment mixed in the black paint.

(I gave mine away about 10 years ago) ( take my bike, please take my bike) It runs great, I take it for a short run, get on the main street, jump on it a little and scare the crap out of the HD people in my area. Far as the bicycle I normally do 2000 to 2500 miles a season, It sounds like a lot, but on a bicycle over the season, it's not that much. May to Oct.

I use to strap on a duffel bag, tent and sleeping bag, and go camping in Mich. Put 45,000 on it and only blew two fuses, is the only trouble I had it.

Well now, 'at 'ers pretty enthusiastic! Hand built a replica of an Amen Savior frame

What's the mill, 500 or 650cc? Head's too shallow to be the bullet proof single cam 750cc. Nice lookin' scoot!

Not even close to an Amen frame!! Amen frame looked like someone's mechanical nightmare. When you build things or paint things they have to have a flow to them, they should look like the belong there, not just slapped on. And say learn to like it!
