44 now, but I bought my Valk when I was still in my 20's... I USED to be the kid of the group...

Looking at the distribution on the chart, you ain't too far from being the kid.

Bought mine new (yup, one owner Interstate) in 2000 when I was 45.  Probably my last bike but it has years to go (and I hope I do, too!).

When did this turn into a height/weight poll?

All I'm gonna say is that two years ago, I was way too short for my height, now I'm about right.
Found out that if you're going to be a PITA, you gotta be in shape.

In the future I think the Valkyrie will see a resurgence. When some get bored with restoring the same ol V-Twin they will see a Valkyrie's motor, and all the potential around that motor. I have even been told to keep my spare parts whereas they will be prized when they do start restoring Valkyries.

I'm 40 (and 168lbs), and not too worried about who will carry the torch. I think the question is, when will the torch be carried on.

Hmmm, from all the data posted so far I can't tell if I'm grossly overweight or just pleasantly plump.  Wink  At the moment I'm 5'10" and right at 220-222lbs. and am slowly going down. Would like to get slightly below 200(maybe closer to 190), wish I knew Bighead's secret to losing that much in such a short time. I'm hoping with the new ball-joint suspension(right hip) being installed in a couple weeks it will allow me to become more active again, which should equate to dropping more weight. I do spend quality time at the gym 2-3 times a week so I know some of that weight isn't subcutaneous Crisco.  Grin

Back in June I was 6'2" and 245#.  The end of July I was still 6'2" but 180#.  I'm sure the Valk could still haul me around if I were to take it for a ride. Seems like just maybe you're eluding to us being fat and we're attracted to a bike nicknamed the fat lady.  Grin

48 yrs ago when I started riding. She will take me to the end of my riding days. So far I am in as good of condition as she is. Pray that

Chase is 20. He got his Valkyrie at 15. We rode around Colorado for a few months and he headed to Arkansas for his third or fourth InZane at age 16. I'm guessing he has logged around 40k by now.  cooldude

I do remember the "wow factor " the first time I saw one. Had to wait until 2005 to buy my first ($), then came the DIVORCE. Well that doesn't take much explaining.

Bought a second in 08, got hit head on by a drunk in my cruiser so I couldn't  ride, (Doctors) sold that one. Healed up and picked up the one I have 4 yrs ago. I am in the middle of the curve as well.
