When I return I will have to work for 4 days then off to the great state of North Carolina for the FCR coolsmiley will have to take a different bike to the FCR as my real tire should be toast after my Arizona trip I should clock about 4500 miles so she should be begging for new shoes when I return tickedoff

If Sherrif Joe arrests you I will personally post your bail.  Smiley  I'm sure you've already ridden many of the roads here. 191 on the eastern side is awesome. From Sedona , 89A and 89 to Congress is a great ride. Biggie, I know we've had our differences over the years but I'd really like to ride with you. Sadly I have no more days off before we leave for Oss's ride. If you find yourself making your way across the state, I hope you'll look me up. There really are some good guys in the AZ chapter (and girls). You should post over there and have some of them hook you up with some rides. cooldude

We have spent some good days hiking around Sedona  great country.

if you pass by Kerrville (spelling is wrong) Tx think about riding the "sisters"    I didnt know they were there when I stopped on the way  back to GOTF and wish I did  What other states you gonna mosey thru?

Think about posting on the Az board, lots of members to ride with as well as Tx board for ride suggestions in those states

Have a great trip !

Hwy 380 west of DFW into NM merging onto hwy 60 to Camp Verde Az is a nice scenic route. Ride south, pick up 169 to 89A near Prescott to Jerome, wash it all down in Sedona. What a ride.

Enjoy, ride safely.

Be careful around that "Sedona Vortex"; they'll beam you up. ???

Don't understand where the looking forward to the Meadhead ride report is coming from but what ever......... As many know  had a rear bearing. Go out on day two of my journey but Bob aka attic rat was there to save the day  cooldude well last night I was in Sedona and noticed a Shiney spot on my tire.......and after further inspection it was an Effff’N nail .."......was able to find a shop not too far away for a replacement. They didn't have a direct OEM replacement bi.t one that would work. Got genre as they opened and they got its right on and started the replacement.
I noticed that the mechanic was removing all sorts of parts they didn't need to so I ask of I could give him so,e pointer and he says sure. So I showed him how to remove the rear in half the time as he was taking but. ( I still got full charge for it tickedoff) and I won't name the shop but it is in Flaggstaff and they did get it right in to Dom he change.".........I must say that is without a doubt the most expensive rear tire for a Valk paid in the US tickedoff but that cost was much less than a Hospital bill. Got the tire on and still did 400 miles today.......thinking about going back to Tulsa as a surprise to Bob ( Just for dinner ) but all told and the extra cash spent it. Has been woth the price of admission so far cooldude
