I think mr Trump must be pretty desparate if he wants to bring the nineties back to life. On the other hand, if the debate showed anything, it showed that he doesn't stand a chance against mrs Clinton if he sticks to the issues of today.

The President, the head of the free world, and the historic office itself should be held to a very high bar. We, the American people hold that office to a high level.

Although Trump may be an unknown compared to Clinton...what we know about her and what can happen to our freedoms (with her in office) as we currently know them makes the decision at the ballot box an easy one for me. |

Personally I don't base my votes on a persons philandering. I am more concerned with their policies than their sexual indiscretions . As far as which one is worse, I don't know. I think I will leave those kind of judgements up to my maker. I have a hard enough time trying to keep myself on the straight and narrow. I wouldn't presume to do it for anyone else. |

To start with, it's just one meathead.  Second, I can't win with you guys. I get on here and express my opinions and I'm accused of posting too much. I have said where I was at many times but I will say it again. I had put a lot of hope in Gary Johnson and was going to vote for him. Then he let me down by showing his utter ineptitude towards foreign policy. As of now I don't know who I will vote for. Or even if I will vote. I have voted every time since I was 18, I hate to break that streak. I only know one thing for certain right now. Donald Trump will never get my vote. I understand he will get many of your guys votes, and I don't say that to piss anyone off. There is just no way I can in good conscience vote for him. I understand you feel people of a liberal lean are stupid and don't want to do what is good for the country, are only looking out for "the free crap army" and so on. But I'm here to tell you, I am a patriotic, proud citizen who served his country for 4 years. I base my vote on what I think is best for our country. Just as I'm sure most of the conservative lean do also. It does get annoying to have to constantly defend my pride in our country though. If I had a dollar for every time someone of the conservative bent who never served their country told me that I wasn't looking out for our best interests and wasn't as patriotic as I should be I could retire. Just as I'm sure most of the conservative lean do also. It does get annoying to have to constantly defend my pride in our country though. If I had a dollar for every time someone of the conservative bent who never served their country told me that I wasn't looking out for our best interests and wasn't as patriotic as I should be I could retire. ( ok rant off) You have the right to vote for anyone that you wish. Personally, if you are intending to vote for anyone other than Trump I would prefer that you just stayed home. I will take that under advisement . Thank you |

All this mutual affirmation of shock and indignation at Bubba's sexual exploits is an interesting reflection of the behavior of the male of our species.
Based on my lifetime of interaction with men and forty years of law practice, it seems than most, many, the majority, (you choose) of men when presented with an opportunity to get involved in a disgusting activity will, with clouded and distracted judgement, do a quick mental calculation on the odds of getting caught and things go downhill from there.
I think many of you would agree that policemen, firemen, politicians, atheletes, ministers all seem to be called upon to do more calculating than the average Joe.
The women attracted to these guys are aggressive and in no way are looking for a relationship. Bubba used to say, " she's got that come-hither look". You didn't really have to go looking for it. They would brush by and palm a matchbook with their phone number. Women like this have a way of bad pissing the wife more than the average wilting daisy. I really don't blame H for getting bad pissed at some of these women, especially the ones demanding money.
As I've previously said, Bubba deserves our sympathy, not our contempt. He was faced with a lot of calculating to do and he wasn't very good at math. He just couldn't bring himself to factor in the fact of living in the public eye. He honestly thought he would get away with it, just like the cop, the politician, the schoolteacher or the minister living in your local community. If any of this seems a little too close to home, don't feel uncomfortable. You are far from being alone-just peruse the Kinsey Report. Me, I'm good, probably couldn't get it up in the Oval Office even if I got past the calculation.
Anybody shows this to my wife, I'm in trouble.

No doubt about it ! I consider myself lucky that I seldom had to do the math. I'm sure I would have failed more than once given the chance. |
