I just watch a program with a segment about UFO’s in it. I thought it was slightly lame, there is often a thing I notice in people’s description of them that makes no sense to me.  Now a UFO, is an Unidentified Flying Object, so basically if something flies by you and you can’t identify it, it is a UFO.   On two occasions, I have witness UFO’s, once at a young age and once as an adult, with other witnesses present.  So I know I wasn’t imagining things.  Well here is the thing, in others description that didn’t make sense to me, people describe these objects with flashing lights, OK.  So my question is, a vehicle that has flown millions of miles in space and can make 90deg turns, why would these vehicles need navigational lights like plane. Or am I mistaking, that kind of throws me off in their comments. Right!

Maybe they use them as communication.  I have seen 3 UFO type objects that I cannot explain. Each one was super fast, still one second and gone with a streak of light the next. Nothing on this planet moves as these did.

The only times I see UFO's are when I'm under the influence. I think I've spotted 6 in the last week.  coolsmiley (it's just a joke)

Wont believe until I see for myself. Too many people have seen something to not think there is something like that out there.

I've seen a bigfoot before, just last week she was in a debate on TV (there, now it's political) and she said she enjoyed Tom Cruise in the movie Valkyrie (there, now it's MC related).

It's simple -- the flashing lights aren't meant for us. We wouldn't know what they mean.  Grin

Myself and 3 friends were fishing one summer night (back in '81-82) our local cranberry bog and we all saw one. It was a clear night lots of moonlight and stars.

Something came from the north east with with white and red lights, it was traveling very slow. I can't say it hovered over head ( not low flying) but it seemed to stay over an area for 2-3 minutes and not a sound. Finally it took off, not north but straight up and then back toward the direction it came from and still not a sound of any type. It was gone in seconds and the lights didn't just turn off but disappeared into the night sky.

All of us could not believe what we saw or explain it.

Vision is a funny thing sometimes. Atmospheric conditions, temperature changes, angles, etc. can create all sorts of optical illusions.

My usual example is the sun. I don't suggest that you actually look at it at midday but at that time it is a small but incredibly bright disk of intense light.

At near sunset, a giant orange sphere.

We've all seen mirages on the highway and the distortions they cause.

We occasionally see the discharge of flares by training NG fighter jets. This is often low and at the horizon making for an interesting show.

I believe virtually all of the UFO sightings, particularly at night, fall in the optical illusion category.

Or aliens.

Few years ago, we used to see them on regular occasions down by the creek, but they were "Undesirables From Ohio", don't see them anymore. Grin
