"When You're Dead, Your Bank Account Goes to Zero"

Livin' Better Side of The Great Divide

« on: October 02, 2016, 01:04:34 PM »

As an alternative to all of the freshly squeezed road apples (don't hit'em on your Valkyrie...they're really juicy/slippery Grin) that have been spread for the past year over politics.

Baseball!  Post season is upon us and I hope that there are a few fans out there amongst the fraternity of the road.  I believe that the Red Sox are trying to win it all for David Ortiz and send him into retirement with a World Series Trophy one last time.

A great matchup for fans would be for the Cubs and the Red Sox to play for the Series at Wrigley and Fenway; the two oldest and venerated ballparks in the country.  Long suffering Cubbie fans deserve it and Sox fans would welcome it respectfully.  This could be the Cubs' best chance since 2003 and the "Steve Bartman Game".  Rooting for them in the National League Pennant series.

This country needs a breath of fresh air after all the stink up of the elections.                              Baseball will make it right again for at least the next five weeks. cooldude

Go Red Sox! Cool

I couldn't say it better myself.

Ortiz is an absolutely top notch player/person. he'll be sorely missed. Undecided

And what's up with the Pats today? Someone stole our guys and left us with......?

Red Sox/ Cubbies? Awesome!

The best baseball is post season baseball.

Since I didn't get to see any Yankee games this season since Comcast refused to televise their games I can see where things go this fall.

I will not be rooting for the Red Sox in any way.

This is offensive.  "could be"? It suggests that there is doubt.
