This weekend marks the beginning of riding season here in The Republic, the heat has finally broken, high 70's/low 80's, clear skies, no wind, absolutely glorious weather.

If you're in the area, own a motorcycle, and didn't ride today, it's time to sell the bike.

Got the spousal unit out on her bike and me on the Valk, ran some errands around the metromess, had lunch with my lovely spousal unit, finally got a chance to try out the Sena 20S headsets (They work great overall!) and just generally get some MUCH needed wind...

Hope ya'll are having/have had a great weekend!

I don't want to put a damper on your ride. But I think a furry animal is stalking your wife.  Smiley (its starting to get good here also)  cooldude

It sure was a great weekend for a ride. Between the last 2 days close to 400 smiles for me.  cooldude

Was able to get out yesterday and a bit today but rode in the rain but it was so nice to have it cool. Wife's helmet is really good and the windshield stickers are good but almost didnt see the bottom of the one at first glance. Whats the other bike?

Heh she loves her cat ears. I used to have floppy dog ears on my helmet until they blew off, that way when she was leading we could say it was a classic case of the dog chasing the cat...

The spousal unit rides a Honda ST1300... I love that bike, not for me for long rides but around town, whenever I ride it, getting back on the Valk feels like going from a sports car to a dump truck...

But I do love my dump truck just the same...

Yep! Know what you mean!

I think the high down here was 88 with low humidity.  Plenty Sunshine too!

Needed to visit the in-laws at a rest-home 35 miles away so we did get some riding in.

After, I tried to talk the wife into heading 10 miles up the road to Shiner for a beer or two, but she was fighting a Migrain (happens when dealing with her folks) so headed back home.

Glad I got some in anyway being such a gorgeous day!!
